Hi,

We have a place that has easy access to the 91 freeway, public transit, and major streets (Adams and Magnolia). We are far enough removed from the main streets that everything is quiet. Tree lined street, providing plenty of shade. Numerous places to eat with one of the best Pizza Parlors in town nearly next door. Less than ten minutes from Tyler Mall and less than 20 minutes from downtown, this centrally located home will make it easy to work and play within Riverside.

You'll have your own 11 foot by 11 foot (approximately) room in a three bedroom house. Your room has mirrored closet doors and two double pane windows, a ceiling fan, and carpeting. Your room will be ready November 1, 2008.

We are an artistic, mellow, household seeking a roommate who can reliably afford 600 a month for their room. Run of the house including kitchen, patio, and large yard (gardening is encouraged). Utilities are included (but in the summer when the a/c is run 24/7 you might be asked for help), utilities include; power, water, gas, Internet access (wireless), use of washer and dryer, and more.

The two roommates already here frequently (but not always) share food and do not want to live a place where there is a shelf designation. That's too much like being at work. You'll share this desire and, if you partake of food and drink, you'll preferably be willing to contribute to the food fund (good home cooked meals - but not all the time) and you'll have no problem helping keep the place clean (we're not perfect either).

This is a TV free house, we'd like it to stay that way if at all possible. We do plan to add a projection system for yard-in and living room movie nights. Headphones are the most courteous way of listening to your music but every once in a while nobody will complain if you use a stereo or if your stereo is at a quiet enough volume it doesn't extend outside your room. Short of the TV and one other issue, we're mighty liberal. If you have a computer you won't miss the TV much because movies and programs you really enjoy are easily watched on the computer. If you don't have a computer there is a system set up for checking your e-mail and web browsing.

Courteous and respectful guests are allowed but not so frequently they live here. This means you can have a boyfriend or girlfriend over and it's not going to be an issue but you will be responsible for their behavior. On this topic, please respect the sound and space issues of your housemates, we really don't want to hear your good time.

Sailor Jerry's is the preferred house liquor but good beer is also very appreciated. We like to drink but we're not rowdy party people. Chilling with some good drink, good company, good conversation, and dim lights is a really appealing night for us.

No powder drugs, no exceptions! No pets (we already have two amazingly friendly dogs here).
